Surely West Ham will target these 2 to replace Kouyate if he leaves before next week

West Ham United have already splashed the cash this summer in the hope that they can secure a European spot under Manuel Pellegrini.

The Hammers flirted with the possibility of relegation at times in the last campaign, but they seem to be heading in the right direction when you take this summer into consideration.

However, Cheikhou Kouyate is attracting interest from fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace, with the Sun reporting that the central midfielder is looking to complete a £10 million switch.

Indeed, the London club are lacking depth in the middle of midfield and could do with the assurance of having cover in the case of any injuries.

With that being said, West Ham will target these TWO to replace Kouyate if he leaves before next week…

Bruno Fernandes was on West Ham United’s radar earlier on in the summer transfer window, but things have died down and any possible move will need to be revived.

The Portuguese midfielder featured at the World Cup and is highly-rated by both his national side and domestic clubs around the world. But, striking a deal for the 23-year-old may be difficult as the Hammers are running out of time, with his current club Sporting Lisbon not wanting to lose another star player.

The 23-year-old was a part of Belgium’s World Cup squad after enjoying a couple of eye-catching seasons in his home country at current club Anderlecht.

West Ham’s European hopes are dependent on whether they can find suitable replacements for any possible departures this summer.

Indeed, the Hammers would be better suited if they drafted in a defensive-minded midfielder, and, there isn’t many more promising players than Leander Dendoncker, who could easily fill the void left by Kouyate if he departs.
