Following the Tevez transfer saga – as it turns out he wasn’t that homesick after all – which ended with the handsome Argentine staying put at City, it emerged that apparently Tevez was ready to jump ship from City. This until he realised that he wasn’t homesick and was absolutely loaded and with no chance of anyone affording him whilst he’s within contract. But where was he set to go to? Rumour has it he would’ve returned to former employers, none other than Manchester United. Yes that’s right, he would’ve crossed back to the other side.
And now with fresh interest from Real Madrid and Inter Milan, can City keep their star striker and Captain Fantastic? It has been reported that Jose Mourinho desperately wants to alleviate his striker crisis and sign Tevez, a player he has admired for some time. And rumours are afoot that Inter Milan are considering an offer of Samuel Eto’o, plus cash, for the pin-up boy of Eastlands.
Can City resist overtures from Europe’s elite? Will young Carlos be tempted to move if he thinks the Premiership title is out of his reach? Can he now rejoin his teammates with the same level of respect and admiration? Or is his relationship with Mancini too fraught?
And if he is to leave City for Real or Inter whilst still under contract, how much will he cost? The mind boggles.

Utter, Utter rubbish.
What a load of crap
Brilliant.
Dis he now? Sources?
This naughty Spurs fansite is making up stories again. At least Tribal Football steal true stories from journalists.
How did Tevez “nearly” rejoin united? Why would man City loan Tevez to Utd, and pay his wages? So they can erect a “goodbye from Manchester” billboard?
Or are you seriously suggesting that the most debt-crippled club in the world could pay off some massive buy-out clause (if Tevez has one), pay his wages, and outmuscle the world’s richest club?
United didn’t even try to buy Tevez when he was on loan there. He wouldn’t want to rejoin whiskey nose or “sock washer” Neville.
Taggart wouldn’t admit his massive mistake with an expensive public u-turn.
Fortunately for Transfer Tavern, it’s not something that can be proved or shown to be an invention – unlike their “England Squad Revealed?” scoop.
TEVEZ IS MONEY WHORE, HE WANTS TO GO BACK TO ARGIE, HE ALREADY WON EVERYTHING AND WANTS TO QUIT WHILE HE IS AHEAD. THEY ARE MAKING A FILM ABOUT HIM FROM SLUMS TO RICHES AND HIS CAR ACCIDENT, THE WHOLE LEAVING SAGA WAS DONE ON PURPOSE FOR THE ENDING OF THE FILM. THE ONLY REASON WHY HE IS AT CITY IS BECAUSE IF THEY WIN A TROPHEY HE CAN SAY HE CAPTAINED THE TEAM AND BE A LEGEND, HE HAD NO CHANCE OF BEING A LEGEND AT UNITED WHILE THE SPOT LIGHT ON ROONEY AND AT THE TIME RONALDO BANGED 42 GOALS WHICH HE KNEW HE COULDNT DO!!!
This has made me SO angry. Stop spouting such unfounded garbage. People that do this make me sick. Isn’t the internet fun? You can hide behind your keyboard and circulate complete tripe. Shame on you.

Ah, this would be the “fairly spurious fun stuff” as described at the top of the page.
My how we all giggled at this one.
Any Man U fans I know regret Tevez leaving, never mind going to City. Don’t know what Cantona is on about. Utd would take back Tevez in a heartbeat if they could afford him.
