The £2.13m-rated Arsenal defender who would be a fantastic loan signing for West Brom this summer

It’s been a tough season for the Arsenal fans lining the pub here in the Tavern and they’re hoping for a better season at the Emirates next time out!

The Gunners face a real uphill struggle to secure a Champions League place for next season and they’re going to have to bring in maximum points from here to the end of the season if they’re going to have any hope at all.

And there’s thought here amongst the supporters that one man in particular needs to go out and get some first-team experience next season and that’s young centre-back Rob Holding.

Rated at £2.13million by Transfermarkt, the former Bolton man has been involved in the first-team over the past couple of weeks but has faced a real struggle to make the squad over the majority of the season. He’s a cracking young player who looks to have a really bright future at the Emirates but right now, he needs to be playing first-team football as soon as possible.

And one destination we think he’d do particularly well at is West Brom, who have an ageing centre-back partnership of McAuley and Evans. The Northern Irish duo have been in cracking form this season but some restbite every now and then would certainly be a benefit for the Baggies.

And for Holding, he’d be playing at a cracking Premier League club with a good philosophy where he’d be getting more regular game-time.

It seems to be a perfect fit so is this a move we could see happen over the summer?

Arsenal fans- do you think West Brom would be a good location for Holding to get some first-team experience next season? Leave your thoughts below!
