Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really looking forward to seeing what their side is going to do this season now that the international break is out of the way.
Indeed, the first three games of the campaign are obviously important but they can only do so much before the fixture list is interrupted and so now is the time where the real glut of fixtures arrive.
For sure, then, the club needs to kick on – starting with Everton this weekend – and it seems as though some of their players are in good form thanks to what has happened over the break.
Indeed, Kyle Walker-Peters is one such player who seems to have benefited from things with him getting a call-up to the England U21’s and playing in their win over Latvia.
He took to Twitter after the game, too, and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what has been said:
Great to end international break with a win against Latvia U21’s tonight. Also very happy to get my first England U21 cap
