The Free Transfer Arsene or Harry MUST Snap Up

Arsene Wenger has ruled out a move for controversial Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton– a player he has recently described as ‘great’.

The 28-year-old, who is available on a free this summer, was centre of attention when the two sides drew 0-0 at St James’ Park on Saturday after instigating a mass brawl which saw Gunners debutant Gervinho sent off.

Wenger was quoted in The Guardian stating:

‘Nobody dismisses signing Joey Barton but I don’t think we envisage doing that at the moment.’

‘I like the courage of the player. He’s a good player. Sometimes there’s trouble with his temper but he’s a great player.’

He jovially added:

‘Maybe the way to sort Barton out is to sign him. Maybe that’s the solution.’

Barton has been linked with a move to the Emirates and White Hart Lane on the basis that both club have  soft underbellies. Arsenal’s midfield used to be a tough act under the Invincibles but Tottenham haven’t had anyone to consistently boss the their squad in 2o years.

Barton might have ‘issues’ but mark these words; as Spurs and Arsenal struggle to make the top four this season, just you watch Newcastle benefit from the unsophisticated talents of Joseph Barton.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
