Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been toasting another win for their club this season as they edge ever-nearer to regaining the Premier League title.
It really has been a season of superlatives for the Blues this year with Antonio Conte proving to be the best manager of the ‘big six’ that were so eagerly talked about at the start of the campaign.
Of course, plenty will be keen to change that next year but this season looks to be all but sewn up with the Blues playing some fine stuff.
Their signings have been pivotal in that, too, and one man in particular has to stand out from that – N’Golo Kante.
The French midfielder is earning a huge amount of plaudits for his continued fine form – carried on from his Leicester days – and that has caused this somewhat unbelievable stat to be generated.
