Arsenal have had a real season to forget in both Europe and the Premier League and their fans here in the Tavern are losing faith in manager Arsene Wenger – and quick.
The Gunners have been humbled by teams like Bayern Munich and Crystal Palace post-Christmas and it’s led to an almost poisonous-like atmosphere on the paddocks, which has divided supporters about the future of the club.
You’ve got the Wexit bunch who want Arsene’s head, whilst there are still some that want to see him do well at the helm of the Emirates.
But whatever happens and whoever is in-charge over the summer months, there needs to be some big players coming in as there is likely to be some big departures too.
So after a quick chat with our Gunners-mad barman who has given us some cracking recommendations, here’s TWO players that certainly need to be on Arsene Wenger’s wishlist this summer….
Joe Hart

Joe Hart’s future at Manchester City is still up in the air and the Gunners could do far worse than having the England number one as competition for Petr Cech, who many will admit hasn’t been in the finest of form this season.
City fans here in the pub aren’t too convinced by Ospina as back-up and they’d be bringing in a player who until Pep took over, was the first pick on the City teamsheet every week.
Romelu Lukaku

If Wenger is still in charge when the summer rolls around, he needs to bring in a player who is going to excite the Arsenal crowd once again.
And one man that might be available this summer is Romelu Lukaku, who doesn’t want to remain at Everton.
Big, bulky and a forward with a real eye for goals – he could be perfect at the Emirates.
