These 2 players should follow Demirbay to Liverpool if he joins

Liverpool have been big spenders over the last few years, and with January fast approaching, fans will be eager to find out who their club is going to sign.

One man that they’re apparently interested in is Kerem Demirbay, who is apparently a crucial Jurgen Klopp target, at least according to the Express.

A creative midfielder, he’s a key part of Hoffenheim’s squad, and though lacking experience, the Reds’ midfield would be improved if he signed.

But Liverpool, who undeniably want to win the Premier League, can’t stop there. They need further improvements to be able to catch up with Man City, and in January, a few big deals could help them seal the Premier League title.

With that said, these 2 players should follow Demirbay to Liverpool if he joins…

Luka Jovic

One thing that Liverpool do lack is am collective of strikers. Any top team needs multiple forwards from which to choose, and beyond Roberto Firmino, the Reds simply don’t have that.

Divock Origi isn’t looking like he has a future at Anfield, whilst the same could be said for Dominic Solanke.

So, Liverpool would be wise to bring in a new forward, and Luka Jovic might be a fantastic choice.

He’s enjoyed a remarkable season so far, having bagged 9 league goals despite starting just 6 games.

Naturally, his lethality is his main attribute, but his technical ability and link-up play is also very solid indeed.

Roberto Pereyra

If the Reds want to bag some proven Premier League talent, they should look no further than Roberto Pereyra.

The attacker has enjoyed a fantastic season so far, with 5 league goals, and he’d had some incredible quality to the Reds’ midfield.

He’s able to play across the attack, both out wide and through the middle, and in terms of importance to his current team, he’s up there with the best at Vicarage Road.

Liverpool will be looking to make a charge for the title in the second half of the season, and they stand a much better chance of succeeding if Pereyra is in the team.
