These 2 Rangers players should plead Warburton for a loan move away in January

A recent run of relatively good form has seen the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern find some joy during a campaign that started so badly.

While the Gers trail bitter rivals Celtic by a country mile, manager Mark Warburton has seemingly turned around a sinking ship to now make the Ibrox outfit sing.

Still, the squad at his disposal still looks rather unbalanced and the dismissal of Joey Barton, as well as long-term injury to Niko Kranjcar, has only added to his problems.

Having spent such a large amount in the summer, the ex-Brentford coach may be forced to move some players around in order to make some room.

In order to do so, perhaps he should listen to some players who’d like to leave as he begins plans for next season, where he’ll hope to close the gap on the Bhoys even further.

With that in mind, here are TWO players who should ask Warbs for a move away.

Martyn Waghorn

Despite proving prolific for the Gers in the Scottish Championship, striker Martyn Waghorn has been linked with a move away from the club.

Not a regular starter in their forward line, the 26-year-old seems set on a return to England, with Championship clubs believed to be keen on the ex-Sunderland ace.

Philippe Senderos

Philippe Senderos only joined Rangers last summer, though the Swiss has largely proved to be somewhat of a disaster this season.

It’s amazing the former Arsenal keeps being handed chances at clubs and the Gers should loan him out in order regain some confidence as soon as possible.

Surely, even he’s not enjoying it so far.
