Indeed, Graeme Murty completely redefined Rangers’ season after being appointed as the manager for the remainder of the campaign, and since has seen his side establish themselves as one of Celtic’s closest challengers. Indeed, the biggest reward for the efforts of the Englishman so far this season would be European football at Ibrox, something that failed the Gers in the current campaign after being knocked out in the qualifying round.

But, the greatest achievement in Glasgow has been the rise of the youngsters, as many opportunities have been handed to those who put in the hard work. And, to be fair to Murty this has been a decision that’s brought lots of reward for his side, with many young stars being uncovered this season at Ibrox.

However, this has come at a cost for the Bluenoses with the rise in form causing for attraction from other clubs, something that could see their efforts reward them with big money moves.

Therefore, with future progression being an important part in the footballing world, here’s TWO youngsters who seriously need to consider their futures in Glasgow…

Alfredo Morelos

The Colombian has been the standout player for Rangers so far this season, as arguably the most prolific striker in the whole country. And, still in his younger days at the age of 21, Alfredo Morelos has the potential to rival some of the world’s best.

Indeed, the striker has been the subject of a lot of interest from China throughout this season, but has recently revealed that he wants to play his football in England.

And, after seeing the kind of performances the young forward has put in so far this campaign for the Bluenoses, a move away from Ibrox would be a step in the right direction for a determined young man.

Josh Windass

The 24-year-old may not necessarily be classed as a youngster, but he still does remain on the younger side of things. And, it’s been the brilliance of the midfielder that’s produced results at Ibrox this season, with Josh Windass establishing himself as a quality asset to Graeme Murty’s side.

However, Windass’ goal celebration a couple of weeks back didn’t go down well with fans, as many of our local residents believe that his attitude will get in the way of a future in Glasgow.

But, a move away from Ibrox in the summer is looking feasible for the midfielder, something that would be of huge benefit to Windass after showing that he deserves to be at the next level.
