The Stoke fans in the Transfer Tavern have endured a rocky road so for in the Premier League.
Hughes’ side seems inconsistent and the Stoke fans worry every time their side is on the Tavern TV.
However, they do currently sit in 13th. While that may not be the best position it certainly means that with some improvements to the squad, a top ten finish is possible.
But what if the players that Stoke need to go into the top half are already at the club?
Instead of splashing the cash it might be time to trust in the youth or a fringe player who rightfully deserves a chance to shine.
With that said, here are 2 Stoke players that Hughes needs to give more game time in 2017…
Ramadan Sobhi

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder only recently signed for the Potters in the summer from Egyptian side Al Ahly and he is certainly regarded as one for the future.
Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean that he should be limited to only a few minutes each week.
Despite his age, the Egyptian has 10 caps for Egypt and should be given a chance to make his mark in the Premier League game.
While he might not be ready to start a game in the league, he could easily come on with 30 minutes left to try and make an impact.
Bojan

The fact that Bojan isn’t starting most games shocks most of the Stoke fans who try and think of theories by the bar.
Perhaps Hughes doesn’t rate the attacking midfielder? But if he doesn’t then why was he signed to a new deal in February?
The Spaniard has only started 5 games in the League this season and despite scoring in the 2-2 draw to Leicester, he was dropped in the game about Liverpool.
It’s time for Hughes to decide if the Ex-Barca playmaker deserves more game time.
