With just three league defeats all season, it’s not hard to see why Tottenham fans are all chipper whilst enjoying a few pints in the Transfer Tavern.
What has brought even more joy to our resident Spurs’ fans is the chaos currently going on across at north London rivals, Arsenal, and our landlord is certain that Mauricio Pochettino’s men will finally finish above the Gunners this season,
Alongside this, the form of the attacking trio of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen has been scintillating this season and although top scorer Kane may be out for at least another month, the goals have still been flowing at the Lane.
With so much positivity around their club, it is hard to pick out much negativity.
However, not much escapes our landlord and he can’t help but feel that Spurs should be closer to league leaders, Chelsea.
He feels there are some players being carried in the Spurs squad who simply are not at the standard of the Premier League and Pochettino could do with arranging Championship moves to said clubs, sooner rather than later.
With that said, here are the main TWO names our landlord believes should move down a league or two…
Marcus Edwards

The young 18-year-old attacking midfielder looks like he has all the credentials to become a real star at Tottenham Hotspur.
But, as our landlord quips, it makes sense for the youngster to go get some game-time, be it in the Championship or in League One.
We saw what happened to Harry Kane, who enjoyed a spell at Millwall and Leicester in the Football League, so why can’t Edwards emulate him?
Josh Onomah

Although he scored his first goal for the club in the EFL cup this season, Spurs fans believe Onomah is no where near the standard required to play in the current Tottenham first team.
Like so many young English players, our landlord believes Onomah needs to go and prove his worth in the Championship, before he realises his potential in England’s top flight.
