These 2 young Celtic stars must be given a chance in the final games of the season

It’s been a fantastic season for the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern and they have been celebrating their side’s success for a number of weeks now.

Brendan Rodgers has seen his side make a really good fist of completing a treble in his first season in charge of the Hoops with the Scottish Cup left to add to the stack of trophies his side have picked up. Another trophy really would be the icing on the cake for the Bhoys in the Tavern who have really been giving it to the Rangers’ fans in recent weeks, especially after the 5-1 mauling at Ibrox that has seen a real gap open between the sides in the Scottish Premiership.

Although it is all rosy for Celtic at the moment, our landlord feels that Brendan Rodgers really needs to make the most of being so far ahead of the rest of the pack in the league. He has suggested that the younger players in the squad should be given the chance to prove themselves in the last few weeks of the season especially when it is fairly obvious that some of their players will be in demand across the UK and Europe come the transfer window.

Our resident Hoops agree with our landlord and after a long discussion, they have outlined these two young Celtic stars that should be given a chance towards the end of this season.

Let’s take a look at them here…

Eboue Kouassi

Whilst Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong have done a wonderful job in the middle of the park for Celtic this season, our landlord believes Rodgers should give Eboue Kouassi a run of games before the end of season is out.

The Ivorian joined in January from Russian side, FC Krasnodar and our Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern really want to see the energetic Kouassi in action before the season is out.

Jack Aitchison

The 17-year-old has been in wonderful form for the Celtic youth sides this season and although he has made a few appearances from the bench after scoring with his first touch as a Bhoy last season, our resident Celtic fans in the Tavern would really love to see one of their own get an early chance in his career to lead the line of their club.

Whilst Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths have been brilliant for Celtic all season, the two have been picking up the odd knock of late and our landlord actually believes Brendan Rodgers could introduce Aithcison to wrap the duo in cotton wool before the Scottish Cup final later this month.
