These 3 Celtic fan tweets literally sum up the mood around the club at the moment

Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern are still ordering in the rounds at the moment following Saturday’s win against Hamilton Academical.

The victory ensured Brendan Rodgers’ men stayed 24 points clear at the top of the table with 12 matches left to go and the Glaswegian team can make the semi-finals of the Scottish FA Cup this weekend if they beat St Mirren.

The Hoops remain unbeaten domestically this season in what is Rodgers’ inaugural campaign at the club, and all the other Scottish Premiership fans around the Tavern have conceded defeat in the league to them.

It really has been a stunning few months and with Moussa Dembele emerging as one of the finest talents the league has seen in a while, there really is much positivity.

With all of that in mind let’s see how Celtic fans are reacting on Twitter to the club’s events in the latter part of their campaign by picking out THREE top tweets…

Dembele sure is popular…

This tweet really emphasises how the Celtic faithful have been feeling this season. The French U-21 international has been Celtic’s standout player scoring 13 goals in his last nine games, including consecutive hat-tricks against St Johnstone and Inverness. The former Fulham striker has a total of 28 goals this season, not bad in his debut campaign!

Needless to say, this has given Dembele hero status at Celtic Park, which is summed up in this tweet. The rise of a professional footballer reaches its limits when he or she is given their own chant created by the club’s faithful. The fact the Frenchman already has three in his first season shows just how highly they regard him for his work this season, while it also shows how badly they would like to retain Dembele, who will surely attract suitors.

Celtic fans just want more

This tweet was sent out after Celtic’s 2-0 win over Hamilton Academical and really gives an idea on how fans have started perceiving themselves following their impressive run this season.

Hamilton currently sit near the bottom of the league and therefore Celtic, after their battering of Inverness, were expecting a better result against a team facing the drop.

This is a testament to Rodgers and how far Celtic have gone this season in proving their domestic dominance.

Rodgers is now a #hero

Having left Liverpool in dramatic fashion in 2015, Celtic fans at the Tavern were questioning whether Rodgers was the right man for the job.

However, the Northern Irishman has proven he can rise to the occasion as he looks set to win his first top-flight title as a manager. It must be said he has done this in some style as the Bhoys haven’t even drawn a game since the 18th of September. He also has his first major trophy after winning the League Cup.

This winning mentality installed by Rodgers has raised the spirits of Celtic fans in the Tavern and this particular Hoops supporter labelled the ex-Swansea boss a hero. The sky is the limit for Rodgers as he looks set to finish the season with the domestic double.
