Our resident Spurs fans here inside the Football Transfer Tavern have been dancing on the pool tables over the international break, with the side looking incredibly good this season.
It has been a sensational start for Mauricio Pochettino’s men in the Premier League, with the club currently unbeaten in the league, and having beaten Manchester City at White Hart Lane.
With the Spurs squad full of talent, the resident Tottenham fans here in the Tavern are satisfied with the current state of the team, though they all admit a few extra players in January wouldn’t go amiss.
Our landlord spotted a transfer rumour recently via Squawka, which suggests that the north London side are chasing a move for Galatasaray star Bruma, along with bitter rivals Arsenal.
The majority of Spurs fans here in the Tavern think this would be one hell of an addition, though some are sceptical, and think they have enough depth in the midfield areas.
Our landlord has taken the time to look at THREE players who could potentially follow Bruma to White Hart Lane in the January transfer window….
Isco

Isco is, without doubt, one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe – and he could revolutionise the Tottenham attack.
He has recently spoken of his desire to play regular football, and Tottenham could definitely provide him with that.
His style of play perfectly suits the Pochettino way; fast, short passing, dynamic – Isco is the ideal Tottenham player.
If Spurs could land him, and he could be available – it could dawn the start of a period of dominance for Pochettino.
The first Tottenham galactico?
Guilherme Arana

While Tottenham are currently well versed in the left-back department, the club have recently been linked with a move for Corinthians defender Guilherme Arana.
The 19-year-old has quickly developed in the first-team for Time do Povo and has represented Brazil at U20.
A bustling full-back packed with attacking enterprise, the young samba star looks tailor made for Pochettino’s expansive brand of football at White Hart Lane.
Emanuel Mammana

Spurs are reportedly keeping tabs on Lyon’s young defender Emanuel Mammana.
The highly-rated defender is seemingly someone Pochettino may want to sign for the future.
Our regular Spurs fans here in the Tavern aren’t too sure about this particular one though, and think the club have already got an array of exceptional young defensive talent, waiting in the wings.
