West Ham have had a very stuttering start to the Premier League season, much to the annoyance of the fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern.
To make matters worse for the Hammers, star player Dimitri Payet has refused to quell the rumours that are linking him with a move away from the London Stadium.
The Frenchman was one of the stars in their final season at Upton Park and led them to a seventh place finish and qualification to the Europa League playoffs.
However, the Irons lost to Astra Giurgiu for the second season running in the Europa League playoffs and the momentum of last season has ceased, too.
They currently sit one point and one place above the bottom three and are struggling for form and goals.
Unfortunately for those in east London, if Payet is to leave, they might be looking over their shoulders a bit more often.
The punters at the tavern though think that these THREE other West Ham players could join Payet in departing during the transfer window.
Andy Carroll
He might be a controversial addition to this list but Andy Carroll could be shipped off by West Ham in January.
The Englishman was expected to be one of the Hammers best signings when he joined permanently from Liverpool in 2013.
He was prolific during his spell in the North East but his form and fitness fizzled on Merseyside.
Upon joining the Hammers, his fitness was immediately called into question and he has been unable to recapture the form that impressed people whilst he was at Newcastle.
As a result, we think West Ham might cash in on the striker.
James Collins
The Welshman has been at West Ham in two different spells in his career.
However, with the Hammers struggling for form and their defence looking porous, we think that Bilic and co might be looking at alternative options at the back.
He has been a Hammers’ stalwart but at 33-years-old, his time at West Ham could finally be coming into question.
His place in the first team has been taken by Angelo Ogbonna who is currently partnering Winston Reid so expect some more time on the sideline for Collins for now.
Jonathan Calleri
Calleri signed from Boca Juniors this summer to bolster West Ham’s attacking options but has yet to impress in London.
The Argentine seems too weak for the Premier League even at this early stage.
It’s hard to judge players after a matter of months and the punters are aware of the need for time to settle but the signs aren’t good for Calleri at the moment.
He is yet to score in his 9 appearances for the Hammers and looks well off the pace.
With record signing Andre Ayew returning to fitness, we don’t think Calleri is going to get much game time and should probably look to return to South America in the upcoming cold winter months.
