With the new season soon upon us… The time has come again, time to pick your Fantasy Football team! The punters here at The Football Transfer Tavern are getting their teams ready for our annual league and are asking plenty of questions of the Landord.
If you’re one of our regulars you’ll know that the Landlord is a bit of a canny ITK, and he’s ready to give you some advice on where to put that fantasy balance of yours and what players are worth a look at.
Whether your playing just for fun, bragging rights with your mates or even if there’s a little money at stake it is always important to invest wisely, and it’s always crucial to look away from the superstars for a good addition. Clubs like West Ham offer some top point scorers at a reduced price.
So here we have THREE players who are plying there trade at the new London Stadium with the Hammers, that are definitely worth having in your fantasy side for sure…
Andre Ayew

The striker who joined the Hammers on Monday night for a club record fee could be a very shrewd addition. He hit the ground running after arriving in Wales last season with an impressive 12 goals in an otherwise mediocre campaign for the Swans.
The 26-year-old was involved in a number of goals within a side struggling for form, so surely a side that is heading into a season with great optimism and talent around him he will be able to impress even more and chip in with a few more points for your side.
Dimitri Payet

This must seem like a natural choice to pick a player voted 1st in the Euro 2016 player rankings ahead of the likes of Pogba, Griezmann and Bale, stated by UEFA themselves!
That’s quite impressive, but if that’s not enough to sell you on this pick then all you need to do is look at his natural ability which we witnessed at the Euros as well as last term. From his ability to curl in a free-kick from 30 plus yards as well as his striking ability as a number ten, they don’t come much better in the Premier League.
So this without a doubt should be an easy pick in terms of points for goals and assists! He’s an all round perfect player and definitely worth a pick for anyone’s team.
Håvard Nordtveit

With the likes of Feghouli, Ogbonna, Carroll and Kouyate up for grabs this may be a surprise choice for many to be a must have. However, having impressed in recent games for the Hammers the Norwegian international looks good for a free transfer from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.
Having not been given the chance at Arsenal as a youngster the holding midfielder headed out on loan to gain first team experience in his native Norway as well as Spain before making a permanent move to Gladbach and since that move he has established himself as a versatile defensive midfielder as well as being an option at centre back
With that being said it appears with Reid and Ogbonna, that Håvard will be preferred to start in his natural position. He’s not shy of a long shot having scored a couple in his career in Germany and his ability to pass and create will lead to a lot of points in assists!
What do we reckon then? Will these three make the cut and earn a spot in your fantasy side? What other West Ham players have you got in there? Let us know below…
