The fans who made the trip out the Wembley for THAT Wednesday night are probably still on their train back from dreamland, as the drinks sure are flowing here in the Tavern tonight.

However, with a recent injury to the vital Toby Alderweireld, they’ll be looking to splash out on perhaps a couple more fresh new signings to cement their motivated pledge towards a trophy. Many thought that a Champions League place was as good as it could possibly get for the London based side, but having topped their Champions League group and now sitting proudly in the top flight, who knows how far this team can go.

In a season that’s been riddled with injuries, the real turning point has been the introduction of youth to the scene. As the promising youth have whipped up a storm, as they now look to have turned the tables to keep the players coming back from injury on the sidelines. Harry Winks

The youngster has lived much of his life in the depths of the Tottenham youth team, as he made only 13 appearances for the club prior to this season. But already he has featured in a whopping 13 matches including both starting and bench appearances, as he now looks to have cemented his place as a regular.

He’s turned himself into one of the most promising central midfielders in the whole of English football, as a man who has been tipped by many of his teammates to be the next English star.

But the one performance that has everybody talking is the 3-1 win against Spanish giants Real Madrid, where he outshone the formidable Luka Modric and Toni Kroos to announce himself on the big stage.

Harry Kane

You all knew it was coming, in what is turning out to be the best season of the formidable striker’s career.

Many kids would grow up dreaming of playing for Real Madrid in front of a packed house at the Bernebau, well Harry Kane has been that good that even the Spanish giants have been linked with a move. As if their interest wasn’t established enough, his recent dominant performances against Los Blancos will only further increase their stake.

Having scored 14 goals in 15 games, there really is something special going down with the striker this season. His shooting boots are on and he’s feeling himself as no defender has caused him even the slightest bit of hassle.

In what has seen him take the top of the Golden Boot chart in the Premier League and sitting only behind Ronaldo in the European charts, it looks like it could be a record-breaking season for Kane.

Kieran Trippier

The former Burnley right-back was always overlooked in the white shirt during his time at the Lane, with Kyle Walker there for most of his stint. However, since coming to Wembley, he has almost been rejuvenated in a way as Pochettino opts to make use of his services down the right.

Having been given the chance he hasn’t disappointed as he’s gathered some inspiring performances, bombing up and down the flanks while offering pinpoint delivery.

So with the prying eyes of Gareth Southgate watching on, Kieran Trippier will be looking to continue on his merry ways as a call-up can’t be all too far away.
