Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are reacting to reports that one of their future star players may want to up and leave the club in the summer, depending on the ongoing managerial situation.

Kenedy has been a revelation in the Newcastle team, ever since his loan move up to the North East, much to the annoyance of our regular Blues in the bar. Still, he supposedly has two big European giants monitoring his movements, after hugely impressing in this calendar year; a move to PSG or Bayern Munich seems two very mouth-watering options for the Brazilian this summer if he should keep on his current trajectory.

The left-sided forward is enjoying playing first-team football again and is one of the main reasons behind the Magpies’ recent successful period in the Premier League, which has seen them climb 10 points away from the relegation zone.

With that being said, our barman takes a look at if Kenedy was to go this summer, which TWO players would follow right behind him out of the Stamford Bridge exit door, after what has been a dreadful season so far…

Eden Hazard

Hazard has been a long-term target for ‘Los Blancos’ and with the recent decline in form of the Blues, Madrid will surely be looking for Hazard to be the next Galactico to take the step into the limelight. Indeed, if Chelsea can’t attract a youth player to stay with them, what does that bode for the future of the SW6 club?

Capturing Hazard may be a big task but, like most of the members of the pool team in the pub know, Chelsea are now starting to run the club more like a business and money may talk in the summer especially with the board looking to majorly overhaul the club.

David Luiz

Despite a falling out with the manager, Luiz is still part of the Blues setup and Chelsea need his experience at the moment more than ever!

However, come the summer, Luiz may be out and permanently replaced by the up and coming centre-back, Andreas Christensen. The Danish star has really found his feet at Stamford Bridge since his successful loan moves brought him back to the club, and has shown he is more than ready for first-team football.

With that in mind, it could be a second exit for Luiz this summer and a final goodbye to a player who has won every major trophy available to him in Chelsea blue.
