Thierry Henry Return On The Cards?!

First it was Martin Keown urging Arsene Wenger to resign Thierry Henry, now it’s the turn of Arsenal icon Ian Wright telling the Gunners chief to bring back the French striker to The Emirates.

The 34-year-old New York Red Bull forward is currently training with his former club after another MLS rolled by and many are speculating whether Wenger will tie him down to a short-term deal in the upcoming weeks.

Well Wright, who netted 185 goals for Arsenal, reckons Henry could still do a job for the north London club and believes Wenger should seriously consider the possibility of re-signing the former French international, claiming ‘he is better than what we’ve got’ currently:

‘I think in the current climate of our striker situation why not sign Henry?’

‘Is he better than we’ve got? Yes!’

His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
