Having taken over from Conte with the Old Lady, Allegri really has improved them on the European front, taking the Serie A giants to two Champions League finals of late.
Chelsea could swap Italian for Italian and it’s proved successful in the past with a host of Italy’s finest taking charge of the Blues.
Diego Simeone
The Atletico Madrid boss has spent over five years at the helm and could be looking for a change soon.
Indeed, his ability to reach two Champions League finals, win La Liga and challenge every year with a squad that doesn’t mirror the big two in Spain is a testament to his managerial capabilities and would be a huge hit with the Chelsea faithful.
Would certainly bring some fiery touchline antics with him to west London, as well as elite tactical nous.
Thomas Tuchel
Widely touted as many a big team’s next manager, Tuchel enjoyed a successful period at Borussia Dortmund, signing off by winning the cup final.
Deploying an attacking team full of vibrant movement and high pressing, seeing him on these shores would be interesting, with his style echoing the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp.
He surely has high ambitions and Chelsea can match that to hopefully create a brilliant partnership going forward.
