The Saints have come marching into the Transfer Tavern today and after a few drinks, they’re talking about players who need to leave.
Southampton have become famous in recent years for being the club that sell their success.
Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and more have all left the saints to join some of the best clubs in the country and the world.
Despite fans clearly not wanting their club to continue selling all their best players, there are a few who could do with moving on.
Some players just aren’t cut out to play for a top ten side in the Premier League.
Surely Southampton will want to push on next season after their eighth-place finish so there is no room for dead wood in the side.
Whether it is a loan deal or on a permanent basis, Southampton should move some players on for future use or cash in on them whilst they can.
With that being said, here are two players who are seriously out of their depth at Southampton.
Florin Gardos

The 28-year-old Romanian simply is nowhere near the starting eleven at Southampton, and most of the Saints fans here in the Tavern even forgot he was at the club!
Signed back in 2014, the centre-back has amassed a mere 11 appearances for the south coast club.
Simply not good enough and definitely out of his depth at St Mary’s.
Will Wood

Southampton youth player here.
With Ryan Bertrand currently occupying the left back position for the Saints, Will Wood will be getting nowhere near the first team.
Even if Bertrand leaves this summer like some rumours are suggesting, Southampton will surely invest in a replacement for him.
Aged just 20-years-old, Wood has more time to develop as a player but our landlord thinks a permanent move would benefit the player.
