Pre-season doesn’t count for much, but Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are still disappointed their side were humbled by Chelsea this past weekend.
The Gunners went down 3-0 to the Blues in Beijing on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger’s men, who beat Antonio Conte’s side in the FA Cup final in May, have a chance to get revenge as the two teams meet again in the Community Shield on Saturday, August 6.
Arsenal fans are still unsure whether to believe Alexis Sanchez will have a part to play when the curtain raiser rolls around, but Wenger appears desperate to keep him.
Several of his current teammates, however, may not be so lucky to be at the top of Wenger’s keep-list.
For Arsenal, it’s now time to get rid of these TWO players who are holding the team back…
THEO WALCOTT

The forward holds a lot sentimental value with Arsenal fans, but has failed to reach the potential his supporters craved so much.
Walcott scored a solid 10 Premier League goals last season – a tally that doesn’t deserve so much ridicule, but it’s his inability to consistently have an impact on a game that frustrates Arsenal fans.
Unfortunately, Theo’s time is up.
Calum Chambers

The Englishman enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, despite Middlesborough’s relegation to the Championship.
However, Chambers’ status as ‘Arsenal’s future’ has since been taken by Rob Holding, following the defender’s excellent performances towards the end of the season.
Chambers is now being linked with a summer switch to Crystal Palace and Arsenal should move on swiftly.
