Celtic have simply torn the SPFL apart this season, and even after a draw this weekend against with rivals Rangers in the old firm, our landlord here at the Transfer Tavern believes it would be impossible for Aberdeen or Rangers to catch them now!

However with the fact that their title is pretty much wrapped up, there is for sure some players that the club should be looking to get rid of.

Not only are there players that the club should be looking to get rid of, but in fact there are some lads at the Bhoys that should be looking to depart the club for their career to progress to next step.

Meaning that for whatever reason they have found themselves at a crossroads at the club and should head for the exit door.

So is it time to leave? Our landlord thinks that these TWO Celtic players’ careers are at a real crossroads, and they should look to leave in the summer….

MOUSSA DEMBELE

The French forward has literally taken the SPFL by storm.

Dembele has scored for fun this term and he’s just looked far too good to be at Celtic.

He deserves the chance to play at a club that’ll be challenging more for the Champions League in a competitive league to see just how good he really is.

If he stays with the Bhoys, he could get stuck in his career without progressing as he should be.

EMILIO IZAGUIRRE

This is a move more beneficial for the player than the club, in that, a player of Izaguirre’s quality and experience shouldn’t be sat on the bench not getting played.

He could fit in to bottom half Premier League team off the bat and would probably flourish at a top Championship side.

He’s at a real crossroads in his career, with his age being a factor too, he has to leave before it’s too late.
