  1. David James above David Seaman? Surely that’s the wrong way round. Sure Jame sis good now, but he was average for years and has never been as god as Seaman at his peak. And putting Cudincini in this list is rediculous, any keeper that chooses to sit on the bench for seasons clearly know;s their limitations.

    Otherwise you’re spot on.

  2. Yeah to be honest i’m a pretty big James fan, i think he has proved himself at several different clubs and is now one of the most consistantly solid keepers in the prem. As a Chelsea fan myself i felt Cudicini deserved to slip in at number ten. I more than anyone hated the way he sat on the bench, he could’ve got a good move if he left early – but for about 3 or 4 seasons at Chelsea he was outstanding

  3. I have to agree with the Seaman above James sentiment. Seaman was consistent at a top four club for years. David James’ time at a top four club simply earned him a rather unflattering nickname.

  4. I’ll jump on the Seaman above James wagon. Reina and Cudicini I’m unsure of in the list. I might have weighed in with a Nigel Martyn or perhaps go proper old school with Neville Southall.

  5. Nice article Oli, i agree with most of it however i wouldn’t have included James as he costs his clubs as many points as he saves them. I also think Cudicini is a biased pick, the man gave up on his career alongtime ago (at an age where goalkeepers peak) and shouldn’t be anywhere near an “all time list.”
