Crucial to that win was a certain Dele Alli, who has proved mightily impressive over the last few weeks, having notched two good headers against the Blues to condemn them to defeat at the Lane.
So, reports from the Daily Telegraph have further delighted our north London locals.
They claim that, while top European clubs are tracking the 20-year-old, Spurs are truly determined not to sell the England international.
Though much of the club’s funds will be tied up in their move to a new stadium, the huge influx of TV money into the Premier League will reportedly help them keep a hold of their prized assets.
Still, Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be keen on the former MK Dons midfielder and are thought to fancy building a team around him, though reportedly know just how hard it will be to sign him.
Bayern Munich are another said to have cast keen eyes over him and Real Madrid were recently linked with a £50m move, though Spurs are thought to be desperate to keep him.
