Seeing as it’s currently the international break, Premier League clubs don’t have a lot to do other than wish their international stars good luck and wait for the return of club football. However, Tottenham Hotspur took to Twitter today to ask the fans which of the club’s 15 goals in the Premier League so far this season was their favourite, and there was only one winner.

There have already been some memorable Spurs goals this season. Harry Kane and Lucas Moura’s goals against Manchester United were obviously popular amongst the fans, however, it was the sublime free-kick from Kieran Trippier against Fulham that has got the fans talking and that’s the strike that most supporters have claimed is the best that they’ve seen so far.
At the time, Trippier’s goal was reminiscent of his free-kick for his country just weeks before at the World Cup. Now, though, the fans have come to expect a lot more from Trippier and whenever he takes a set piece or bombs down the right and puts a delivery in the fans are expectant that something will be coming from it. It’s rare that a right-back has so much influence going forward but it provides a different edge to Spurs’ game and the fans will be keen to see more goals from the Bury Beckham in the future.

The Lilywhites clearly enjoyed Trippier’s goal and will be keen to see more from in terms of goalscoring from the 27-year-old in the coming months.
