Tottenham Hotspur: Fans fawn over Dele Alli’s tweet upon return to training

Loads of Tottenham fans have fawned over a tweet from Dele Alli after he posted on his official Twitter account with the caption “feeling blessed.”

The Spurs star tweeted a photo of himself working out on an exercise bike at the Enfield Training Centre as Jose Mourinho’s side returned to training for the first time since the nationwide lockdown began, with the Premier League gearing up for a return in a brand-new initiative called ‘Project Restart.’

Earlier this week, top-flight clubs agreed to resume training this week, albeit keeping in line with the government’s social distancing guidelines. Players will be allowed to train together in small groups in non-contact exercises lasting no more than 75 minutes each session (Evening Standard).

It seems Alli is enjoying being back as he looks to improve his fitness levels before the season restarts behind closed doors next month. Indeed, the 24-year-old will no doubt be looking to finish the campaign on a high note after being the victim of a shocking burglary last week. The England international has scored eight goals and registered four assists for Spurs so far this term (via WhoScored).

Understandably, plenty of Tottenham supporters fawned over Alli’s “inspirational” image on social media, with one fan commenting “perfect” and another adding that it is “beautiful”.
