Lots of Tottenham fans have reacted to a photo of the White Hart Lane station which has been refurbished over the summer (via Pete Haine, the club’s Heritage Ambassador).
The building, which supporters will use to get the underground, has undergone a £100million regeneration since the back end of last season and is reportedly set to be renamed the Tottenham Hotspur station (per the BBC).
Some supporters are hopeful it will be available for use for their first home game against Newcastle on August 25.
The club moved into their new stadium back in April in a season which saw them reach the Champions League final and finish fourth in the Premier League.
And some fans are excited by the prospect of a refurbished rail station which will facilitate their journey to the new ground this season after some of the problems at the Seven Sisters stop reported by the Evening Standard after Spurs’ first game in their new home.
However, others are still concerned the long queues they had to endure previously will still be a problem come the end of August.
