Whilst it may not be the most talked about rivalry in the Premier League, Tottenham and West Ham will always hate each other. Considering the Lilywhites league position compared to the Hammers, games between them usually mean more to West Ham, however, it’s Spurs fans who have bitten this time at comments from Declan Rice.

Declan Rice has become a household name in the Premier League this season. The youngster’s ascendency has been admirable, and he is currently the best English defensive midfielder around if you ask most knowledgable Three Lions fans. However, after his England debut, he was interviewed at Wembley and came out with a line that really rattled the Lilywhites.
Considering that Tottenham have been playing at Wembley, Rice has had chances at the national ground prior to his England debut, and when asked what he was thinking before the game he recalled beating Tottenham with West Ham last season, causing plenty of agitated Tottenham supporters to foolishly take the bait and fire their own comments back at the player on West Ham’s official twitter.
