Jose Mourinho is reportedly keeping an eye on the situation at Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Sun.
The former Chelsea boss has been out of work since being sacked by Manchester United in late-2018, but he has been linked with the Spurs job after Mauricio Pochettino’s poor start this time around.
Due to where the season currently stands, Tottenham’s options would be limited if they did relieve Pochettino of his duties, with most other top-quality managers already in employment.
This would surely boost Mourinho’s chances of getting the job considering he is completely proven in the Premier League and currently unemployed.
Despite enduring a somewhat underwhelming stint in charge of the Red Devils, Mourinho is still one of the most successful managers in world football and knows the English top-flight inside out, making his potential employment seem like a decent fit for a struggling Tottenham side languishing in the bottom half of the division as things stand.
