Tottenham played their last game in the International Champions Cup in the early hours of this morning when they faced AC Milan in Minnesota. The Lillywhites overcame the Rossoneri 1-0 through a well-taken effort from Georges-Kevin N’Koudou early in the second half, leading plenty of Spurs fans to call for the Frenchman to be given a chance.

It’s widely reported that Tottenham are interested in signing a winger this summer. The club had a long-standing interest in Malcom before he made his move to Barcelona and now it looks like they could be close to completing a move for Wilfried Zaha. However, a lot of Tottenham fans would happily see the club cancel their interest in the Ivorian winger and instead give their young French winger more of a shot at the club.
Since joining Spurs ahead of the 2016/17 season N’Koudou has had very few chances to impress. In his two years as a Spurs player, he’s only made 17 Premier League appearances, eight of which came in the second half of last season whilst he was on loan at Turf Moor. However, after an impressive pre-season under Mauricio Pochettino, it would be no surprise to see the ex-Marseille man given more of a shot in N17 this season.

In the Spurs fans’ eyes, N’Koudou deserves a proper chance in the first-team and it’s just a matter of waiting to see if he gets it or not.
