Tottenham have a lot of work to do this summer and not a lot of time to do it. The transfer window closes at 5 pm BST tomorrow, meaning that after tomorrow, the Lillywhites will be unable to bring in any new players. According to The Evening Standard, though, Spurs are keen to offload up to five players to raise funds for some incomings.

With less than 30 hours to sign new players, a lot of Tottenham fans are being frustrated by the apparent ‘sell to buy’ policy that’s being adopted at this stage. The club are apparently desperate to sell Vincent Janssen, whilst they’ll also be happy to let Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, Moussa Sissoko and Fernando Llorente go if the right offer comes in. The other significant outgoing could be Danny Rose, who the club has slashed the £50 million price tag on in a bid to offload him.
Whilst selling five first-team players wouldn’t normally be an issue for a Premier League club during the summer, it would be a major problem if those sakes came after 5 pm tomorrow if Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy can’t bring any new faces in. The club are looking at bringing up to four new faces according to the Evening Standard article and if Poch can do that and the ship out all of the deadwood, this window would have to go down as a very late success.

The supporters have been baffled so far by Tottenham’s lack of transfer business and will be hoping their club will be much busier up until tomorrow at 5.
