Tottenham fans everywhere know that Christian Eriksen can be an absolute game-changer for them. The Danish creative midfielder adds goals and assists from midfield and has the ability to turn games on their head when playing for both club and country, and the fans are buzzing that he’ll be fit for PSV.
Mauricio Pochettino will likely throw Eriksen in for the Champions League clash after he was left on the bench against West Ham on Saturday. The Danish midfielder scored in Tottenham’s first Champions League outing of the season in the 2-1 loss to Inter Milan at the San Siro and then missed the next European game through injury against Barcelona, so to have him back for their trip to Eindhoven tonight is a huge boost.
Eriksen has always been a crucial player since he joined back in summer 2013 and he had a knack of stepping up in big games. Last season in the Champions League he netted away at Juventus and at home to Real Madrid and now that he’s added Inter to that list this season he’ll be keen to add PSV and Barcelona to it in the coming weeks. PSV are never going to be an easy team to beat and if Eriksen can inspire the Lilywhites to a win then he’ll only elevate his reputation with the supporters.
