If you’d told a Tottenham fan 12 months ago that Moussa Sissoko would be bossing the likes of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho in the Chelsea midfield then they’d probably have laughed at you. However, the Frenchman showed exactly what he’s capable of yesterday when he had the game of his life during the Lilywhites’ 3-1 win over Chelsea at Wembley.

In previous years, Chelsea have haunted Tottenham when the sides face each other at Wembley, although it looks like the tide may be turning after yesterday. Mauricio Pochettino’s side came out of the blocks absolutely flying and Chelsea had no idea what hit them when Sissoko and co ran riot, taking a 2-0 lead inside 16 minutes. Some of The Blues defending was comical at times but take nothing away from Spurs.
This season has seen Sissoko turn it all around as a Spurs player. There were rumours over the summer that Poch was looking to offload the Frenchman for just a fraction of the £30 million that was paid for him back in summer 2016. At the moment, though, the majority of Tottenham fans are over the moon that a deal failed to materialise as they’re currently reaping the rewards from having Sissoko at the top of his game in their midfield.

Bloke deserves all the credit in the world for how he has kept his head down and worked to be a better player despite a barrage of criticism from his own supporters.
Another remarkable display where Kante was second best to him for the whole entire game, deserves his place.
