It finally looks like Tottenham’s self-imposed two-window transfer ban has come to an end. Already we’ve seen reports from France left, right and centre about the future of Tanguy Ndombele, and the latest report from Telefoot claims the Frenchman is yet to decide where his future lies, yet is excited at the prospect of a Spurs move.

Tottenham fans are rightly starting to get excited. It looks like Mauricio Pochettino is finally getting the backing that the Lilywhites have been desperate for him to get, and after two windows of transfer funds not being splashed, they could be set for a massive splurge in the coming months. Ask any Spurs fan and a new centre-mid or two should be the priority, and it looks like Poch agrees.
Ndombele is one of the brightest young midfielders in both Ligue 1 and in Europe. His performances for Lyon have been nothing short of world-class over the past two seasons, and should he join up with his countryman Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko and continue to star in the middle of Tottenham’s midfield then the Lilywhites will have real cause to celebrate.

The Lilywhites are desperate to get Ndombele signed up this summer, and as far as they’re concerned the sooner the better as they look to bring in a number of faces this summer.
