Yesterday’s 1-0 win over Burnley was a tough watch for Tottenham fans. The Lilywhites were made to waitfor the winning goal, eventually netting when Christian Eriksen came off the bench and scored in the 91st minute. However, the Lilywhites all knew it would take Eriksen to make the differemce, and spent half-time calling for their great Dane.

It was there as clear as day for the Tottenham fans that the game against the Clarets was going to be one that required a little bit of magic that only Eriksen could possibily prvoide. The Danish midfielder is one of the best players in the Premier League and when he doesn’t play, Spurs are never as good as when he is on the field and pulling the strings.
Most fans hate seeing their side lineup without the 26-year-old maestro and you can see why. It’s not the first time this season he’s scored huge goals. In the Champions League he netted home and away against Inter Milan, giving the Lilywhites their vvital away goal and their winner at Wembley to see Spurs qualify ahead of the Italians, and now he’s got his 1st Premier League goal of the season, with plenty more to come in the net few months.

Eriksen needed. Very frustrating half. Someone tell sissoko he’s allowed to shoot.
