Whilst it may seem like none of the sides battling for the top four actually want to finish 3rd and 4th, all of the fans involved in the race are desperate for it. Tottenham supporters are in the best possible position of the four clubs fighting for it and need just two points to confirm a top four spot, yet the fans are still nervous.
BREAKING | Tottenham Hotspur now require just 2 points from their 2 remaining Premier League fixtures (baring a 10 goal swing) in order to secure Champions League football for a 4th consecutive season under Mauricio Pochettino.#THFC #COYS pic.twitter.com/iizf3GMlnD

The Lilywhites absolutely love the fact that they’ve got bragging rights over their fellow London clubs Arsenal and Chelsea, but the job isn’t done yet. It was a bizarre weekend of football, as Chelsea and Manchester United drew at Old Trafford whilst Arsenal were comprehensively beaten away at Leicester and Spurs lost to West Ham, although Tottenham still have the advantage.
Should the Lilywhites be able to overcome Bournemouth at The Vitality Stadium then they’ll have nailed on their spot in the top four, but they’ll need a further point to secure 3rd place. That is a good place to be in this season, and the supporters are keen for their side to get the top four wrapped up next weekend so they can put everything into their Champions League semi-final Ajax and try and reach a European final.

The Lilywhites are nervous still despite being in the driver’s seat in the top four race, and a win over the Cherries on Saturday will go a very long way to easing their worries.
