Tottenham fans are getting sick and tired of having all of these injury woes. The Lilywhites have been put through a rough time in the last eight months as problems with fitness have built up, yet as Dele Alli is set to return this weekend it can only mean good things for the Lilywhites.

Dele has missed Tottenham’s last eight matches with a repeat injury of the thigh strain he siffered earlier in the season. Those eight fixtures have mostly seen the Lilywhites pick up good results, with Cha,pions League progression the obvious high point. However they’ve also fallen to defeats against Chelsea and Burnley and drawn with Arsenal, so the fact that Dele is now back is still a massive boost.
At the age of just 22-years-old, Dele has racked up an obscene 172 games for the Lilywhites, all of those coming under Mauricio Pochettino, and the Argentine will have been just as desperate as the rest of the fans to get his star prodigy back in the side. When Spurs have Dele starring with Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son little can stop them, and Southampton could be set to see them in full flow in less than 24 hours.
