The last thing that Tottenham fans want to see their club do this window is waste money on a player to get over the short term issue of Harry Kane’s injury. The Lilywhites would rather limp through with Fernando Llorente and Lucas Moura, especially seeing as The Telegraph has linked them with a move for Liverpool’s Divock Origi.

Liverpool’s Belgian striker has failed to hit the heights at Anfield that he was supposedly going to reach. However, that’s not to say he doesn’t add any value to Jurgen Klopp’s side. The Belgian scored the winner in the most recent Merseyside derby and has been used as a rotational striker at Anfield, although he hasn’t done enough to convince the Spurs fans that he should be their deputy for Kane.
Heung-Min Son usually fills in for the England captain under Mauricio Pochettino, but with the South Korean away on international duty until the 1st February, rumours have started to surface that the club could be looking to the market to bring in a new face to help them cope and bolster their chances of winning some silverware this season, however, from the fans’ reaction, Origi is not the man for them.

Wouldn't like to see the reaction to Origi.

The Lilywhites would be fuming if their club signed Origi, and would much rather see this one left behind and not talked about again.
