Tottenham fans were treated to an absolute goal-fest when they travelled to Prenton Park on Friday night. The Lilywhites absolutely ripped through their League Two opponents, scoring six second-half goals in an all-time record 7-0 away win. Fernando Llorente was a great contributor to that win, as he scored his second Spurs hat-trick during the win.

The Spanish striker has been a strange figure at Wembley. In his season and a half under Mauricio Pochettino, the ex-Juventus man has struggled for game time in the Premier League and Champions League, only managing to play when the FA and Carabao Cup fixtures come around. Either way, though, he still provides a good option off the bench for Poch, and he obviously loves the FA Cup.
Llorente has appeared eight times in the FA Cup in his career, with one of those coming with Swansea and the rest with Spurs, and in those games he’s found the net six times. Those goals have come in just two games, though, as he’s bagged hat-tricks against Rochdale and Tranmere. The next step for the 33-year-old will be to convert his FA Cup goalscoring record to the Premier League so he can shine in Harry Kane’s absence.
