Tottenham Hotspur fans have it all to shout about when it comes to Christian Eriksen. The Danish midfield maestro has it all in his locker. When he’s not getting forward scoring and creating goals he’s playing a deeper midfield role, controlling from deep and chipping in defensively, although it’s his set-piece skills which are being lauded this time.

Eriksen’s wonderful free-kick against Everton on the final day of the Premier League was his seventh in the division and his 22nd goal from outside of the box since his debut for the Lilywhites in September 2013, and no player has managed more in that time. All the Tottenham fans are after now is one more banger, in less than three weeks time in Madrid when they face Liverpool in the Champions League final.
When Tottenham parted with the fee of just £12.15 million in summer 2013, bringing Eriksen to the club as part of the infamous seven signings that came in with their Gareth Bale money, it looked like he would have a big future. No one quite expected his future to be this big, though, and he has quickly become one of the best players in the Premier League and one of the best attacking midfielders in the world, with stats like this just proving that.
