Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to the news that AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piątek could be on his way to north London before the transfer deadline.
It is no secret that Spurs are desperate for a new forward, with talisman Harry Kane ruled out with a long-term injury until April, as per football.london. Manager Jose Mourinho admitted that signing a goalscorer during the January transfer window would be preferable, with Piątek heavily linked with the club.
Football.london revealed that the club faces competition from Newcastle and Aston Villa in England for his signature, along with a host of other clubs. The 24-year-old has scored four goals in 18 Serie A appearances for Milan during the current campaign and has averaged 2.7 shots per game, which is down compared to his stint with Genoa. After netting 13 times in 19 outings for Il Grifone, he had much more freedom in front of goal with 4.1 shots, as per Whoscored.
