Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are shocked to hear that their struggling midfielder could continue to play in the Premier League next season after the Daily Mail revealed that Paulinho is a target for newly promoted Watford.
The Hornets recently agreed a club record £7m fee for winger Diego Perotti from Genoa and it looks as though the London club are willing to spend money to recruit the right players to keep them in the top flight next season.
Paulinho who is also wanted by Juventus, AC Milan and Roma has a big decision on his hands because the Brazilian could be motivated to prove his critics wrong in England.
The 26-year-old arrived at White Hart Lane for £17m two years ago and he has failed to live up to price tag after he arrived following the sale of Gareth Bale.
