According to Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, via sempreinter.com, Daniel Levy and a ‘few other clubs’ are ‘beginning to move’ for playmaker Christian Eriksen – with the reporter claiming that Tottenham ‘would gladly’ take him on loan.
Eriksen, who has recently been touted with a return to north London, with transfer reporter Ekrem Konur saying that Spurs had joined the race along with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ajax, appears to be gaining even more traction in the media as this development from Di Marzio emerges.

Eriksen return on the cards?
The 28-year-old is now thought to be of serious interest to Spurs, coming from more than one reliable source, with Fabrizio Romano also claiming that Jose Mourinho ‘would like‘ to have him back.
Di Marzio’s information, speaking to Sky Sports via sempreinter, reveals that Eriksen’s agent is speaking with ‘various clubs’ and Spurs ‘would gladly’ take him back as Levy and other interested parties are ‘beginning to move’.

While for some supporters this could be a homecoming akin to Gareth Bale in the summer, some pundits hold an opposite view – with ex-Spur Paul Robinson speaking out on the potential January move for Eriksen fairly recently to Football Insider.
He branded the Dane’s potential return as a would-be ‘ridiculous‘ swoop given the manner in which he left Spurs and the fact he has not been playing, but these reports suggest it certainly isn’t beyond the realms of possibility.
Time will tell whether he does come back to Spurs, but it may split opinion given his unceremonious exit.
