Speaking to Football Insider, ex-England international and pundit Danny Mills has tipped Spurs and Daniel Levy to seal a sensational return for Christian Eriksen – going on to say he is still a player of real ‘quality’.
Eriksen departed Spurs at the beginning of the year after a lengthy transfer saga, putting pen to paper on a deal with Inter Milan, but the move hasn’t exactly lived up to expectations.

Eriksen on the move?
The Denmark international has failed to establish himself as a first team regular under Antonio Conte, going on to make just three Serie A starts for the club this season (WhoScored), and he recently admitted he would be open to leaving in January.
Now, if the price is right, Mills claims Levy and co could in fact move to re-sign the former Spurs cult hero – going on to claim he is a player of real ‘quality’.
“I’m pretty sure if Daniel Levy is getting a bargain, having made some money on him already, they’ll certainly look at it.
“He’s a player of quality, that knows the club inside out so there’s every chance.
“It would certainly be foolish to rule it out immediately.”
Transfer Tavern take
Ex-Tottenham star Paul Robinson, in another recent interview with the outlet, described the would-be move as ‘ridiculous‘ – even despite Fabrizio Romano claiming that news of an Eriksen reunion will drive Spurs fans ‘crazy‘.
Whether or not Levy fully works to make the deal happen remains to be seen, but judging by recent developments, you would indeed be foolish to rule out a move.
