Tottenham Hotspur fans were having a dig at Christian Eriksen after a stunning statistic emerged about the number of chances he created compared to Paulo Gazzaniga in Sunday’s loss to Liverpool.

It emerged that the Argentine goalkeeper created more ‘big’ chances (1) than the Denmark international during Sunday’s encounter (0) (via Last Word On Spurs), with WhoScored also confirming that he failed to make a key pass during the match.
The one chance the ‘keeper created was a long kick up to Heung-Min Son, from which the South Korea international hit the bar in a close chance (via WhoScored).
Eriksen was also heavily criticised by fans following his lack of influence in the game, with his 88th-minute replacement Giovani Lo Celso playing just 11 less successful passes than him.
After his attempt to force a move in the summer transfer window, it seems it could be the end of the line for the £90m-rated (per Transfermarkt) playmaker in a Spurs shirt as fans took to Twitter to blast him.

Actually Eriksen did create a chance…??! I didn’t think he had any standout moment but after rewatching. He had an epic ball out to Kane on the left hand side which kane squared for Dele but it was just a bit too much for him
