It remains to be seen whether Tottenham make signings this month, but one player who could feel like a new addition is Juan Foyth. The 22-year-old is an Argentina international, yet he’s been overlooked since signing for the club in 2017, and many fans clearly don’t agree with that.
He’s started just one Premier League game this season, making two other appearances from the bench. He was rated a disappointing 5.4/10 by WhoScored when he played 34 minutes against Norwich on December 28, but it’ll be hard for him to find his rhythm without consistent playing time.
From the look of Twitter, plenty of supporters seem to understand that. It was his birthday on Sunday, so the club posted a message on their official Twitter account. Some fans then replied to tell the club that he should be given more of a chance to prove himself in the first team.
