Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Ajax defender Sergino Dest this summer, according to Calciomercato via @TranSPURS.
Jose Mourinho is interested in making a move for Dest in the upcoming transfer window, as he wants to find competition for Serge Aurier, and the youngster is considering his options.
Spurs duo Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters are considered surplus to requirements and could be heading out the door before football returns, which would provide Mourinho with the necessary funds to table an offer for the Ajax right-back. However, German outlet TZ claims the 19-year-old is destined to join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich instead.

After breaking through the ranks at the Johan Cruyff Arena, the American has made 20 appearances in the Eredivisie this season, picking up five assists for Erik ten Hag’s side so far. He is currently valued at £16.2m via Transfermarkt but it remains to be seen if Daniel Levy will splash the cash.
Understandably, lots of Spurs fans took to Twitter to discuss the transfer news, with one fan exclaiming Dest is “literally another Yedlin” while another claimed “I wish” in response to the transfer links.
