Tottenham’s season has so far been disappointing.
The north London club currently lie 14th in the Premier League after 12 matches, 20 points behind current leaders Liverpool.
It’s safe to say that Spurs are not going to win the league this season, though they still have every chance of obtaining a top-four finish if they can turn results around on the pitch.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side trail Manchester City – who currently lie in 4th – by 11 points, which although is a sizeable gap, isn’t exactly uncatchable.
The acquisition of some new signings in January would certainly help Tottenham in their quest for Champions League football next season, with the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Brais Mendez and Dayot Upamecano all being mentioned as potential new arrivals at the start of next year (via B/R Football).
